某日本旅行社破产在即，作风强硬的社长朝霞玲子（田中丽奈 饰）破釜沉舟，推出了极为大胆的法国巴黎十日游。旅行社联系了有着三百年历史的酒店王妃之馆（Château De La Reine），却企图让两组游客在不同时间段共享房间。一组“豪华团”由她亲自带队，成员包括名作家北白川右京（水谷丰 饰）在内的数名荷包充裕的游客，另一组“草根团”则由唯唯诺诺的下属户川光男（尾上宽之 饰）负责，里面则充斥着退休骗子、现役警察、女装表演者以及出版社编辑等人物。游客们个性十足，我行我素，令玲子和户川大伤脑筋，而有趣的故事也围绕着这群日本游客在浪漫之都交替上演…… 本片根据浅田次郎的小说改编。。小林(康康飾)是個倒楣鬼。有一天，他意外得了一本《無字天書》並讓他中了獎！但獎金很快就被他和同樣倒楣的窮室友阿楠(袁順成飾)和老輝(程旭輝飾)給揮霍掉。不甘再回到貧窮的小林再次求助於〝無字天書〞。但書中的〝書靈〞卻表示若要繼續中大獎，便要付出很大的代價。為了繼續享受榮華富貴，小林毅然選擇答應！ 依循〝書靈〞指示的小林逐漸擺脫貧困的生活，沒想到書靈終於告訴他必須付出的代價就是死！ 只有死，小林才可以成為《無字天書》的下一任‘〝書靈〞，也只有這樣，現任〝書靈〞才能獲得解脫！因此，小林得到越多財富，自己的陽壽就會越來越短。為了擺脫惡鬼的糾纏，三人又會選擇付出什麼更慘重的代價呢？對於這幾個貪心的人，是不是最終都只有兩個選擇—死或死得更慘？。The subtitle of Jean-Marie Straub and Danièle Huillet’s first feature, from 1965, “Only Violence Helps Where Violence Reigns,” suggests the fierce political program evoked by their rigorous aesthetic. The pretext of the film, set in Cologne, is Heinrich Böll’s novel “Billiards at Half Past Nine,” which they strip down to a handful of stark events and film with a confrontational angularity akin to Bartók’s music that adorns the soundtrack. The subtlest of cues accompany the story’s complex flashbacks. The middle-aged Robert Fähmel tells a young hotel bellhop of persecutions under the Third Reich| his elderly father, Heinrich, an architect famed for a local abbey, recalls the militarism of the First World War, when his wife, Johanna, incurred trouble for insulting the Kaiser. A third-generation Fähmel is considering architecture, just as the exiled brother of Robert’s late wife, returns, only to be met by their former torturer, now a West German official taking part in a celebratory parade of war veterans. Straub and Huillet make the layers of history live in the present tense, which they judge severely. The tamped-down acting and the spare, tense visual rhetoric suggest a state of moral crisis as well as the response—as much in style as in substance—that it demands.。
