本片改编自平库waka的同名漫画，26岁的椎野智世从电视新闻中得知好友真理子去世的消息，真理子从学生时代开始就受到父亲的虐待，小椎决定为真理子做点什么。为了拯救真理子的灵魂，小椎决定夺走她的骨灰，展开一次特别的旅行。。Terminally ill Janette wants to die with dignity, but it’s not possible in the UK, where she lives. She therefore decides for assisted suicide. She must plan her journey to Switzerland before her rapidly advancing disease makes it impossible.
