A loose adaptation of Chekhov's Ivanov set in rural California. Anna is hosting a New Year's Eve party. Nina, a long gone friend from high school unexpectedly shows up, conjuring the feelings of another girl and bringing to the surface the inner lives of the ensemble: a gaggle of eccentric millennial party-goers.。A brother and sister move into an old seaside house they find abandoned for many years on the English coast.
