贤秀（申世京）是做整容医生的母亲尹熙（道智苑）的掌上明珠，她虽对整形手术没有一点兴趣，一同在美术学院读书的好朋友却都热衷通过人工再造让自己变得更美丽，然而她们在被尹熙在手术台上改造过后，先后离奇地惨死，一时间贤秀和母亲陷入恐慌中。最好的朋友盛恩（安圭莲）完好无损，成为贤秀最大的安慰。
贤秀偶然闯进家中禁地地下仓库，发现一张非常恐怖的小孩照片，令起萌生揭出母亲所藏秘密的想法，慢慢地，疑问有了答案，她和母亲也渐被逼到角落。。本剧改编自同名漫画，讲述了主人公鹰野爪子，无论怎么看都具备中坚王牌的风格，看起来好像超有能力的样子，其实是令人震惊的无能之人。另外，鹰野爪子和同期进公司的鶸田道人其实是有能力工作的，但看起来是工作无能的遗憾上班族。“看起来有能力的女人”和“看起来无能的男人”的最强搭档创造了奇迹的新时代职场故事。。Astronomer Bill Whitley is so preoccupied with the new comet he's discovered that his time at the observatory sometimes comes at the expense of his beautiful wife, Vicky.
