某日，在盛大的祭奠中，朝雾邂逅了名为半次郎（渊上泰史 饰）的青年，善良老师的半次郎吸引了朝雾的注意，使得她坠入了情网之中。然而，身为妓院头牌，恋爱是被明令禁止的，朝雾因此而遭到了老板娘的斥责。之后，在吉田屋（津田宽治 饰）举办的宴会上，朝雾和半次郎重逢了，吉田屋察觉到了两人流露出的情谊，占有欲极强的他决定拆散他们。。
