大理某公社副社长金花带领一群姑娘去赶“三月街”，路上车坏了，得到阿鹏帮助。阿鹏在赛马会上又得冠军，金花与阿鹏在蝴蝶泉边互赠信物，约明年3月在苍山脚下相会。第二年阿鹏如期赴约，却遇到四位金花，闹了不少误会，最后终于在蝴蝶泉边找到了当上公社副社长的金花。。Series 3 (2002) The third and final series focused on a different character each week but with the overlaps creating a more complex layering of the plot, more akin to a one-off episode of a situation comedy (albeit with intertwined plots) than a traditional sketch show.
