And beneath the murky surface of the river, a shifting, almost human shape slowly takes form to seek a...。青龙堂主安如龙恃众横行，劫掠烧杀，山东地带被蹂躏至永无宁日，是故「山东响马」，闻者魄散魂飞。游侠燕铁衣返小镇鹿寨觅女友铁玲玲，见山东响马副首独腿狼率阎罗刀、马大海等至，燕激于义债，出手杀独、阎等，仅马一人幸免。镖师孙坚押饷银至小镇，夜宿于此。入夜，燕发现玲归家，久别重逢，玲诉与母避于山上，母害风寒，故冒险返家多取被褥。燕护送玲出寨，途中，玲为马劫走。燕返镇，告孙以欲借镖银，引响马至。孙大怒，遂与燕战，但为燕制伏。孙无奈，允之。安率众而至，以玲要胁，进寨掠镖车而去。原白银已于夜间给偷龙转凤，藏与酒馆内。燕询安歇息处，独往向安挑战。燕以轻功稍胜一筹，杀安于破庙，为民除害，与玲结为良缘，共享太平。。
