钉子、煤灰、奶包、靓仔及三毛五人为好友，他们无心向学，常惹事生非。钉子因父母离婚，决定到环岛散心，其他四人及煤灰的好友秀秀也决定加入环岛旅程。旅途中他们遇上不少挑战，更遇到飞车党的袭击，最后他们凭智脱险。旅程完结，他们成长了不少，各人更为自己的目标而奋斗……。The story takes us back to 1889, in the wake of primary school teacher Louise Violet who is sent to a village in the French countryside to enforce Republic schooling (which is free, compulsory and secular). It’s a mission which secures her unpopularity, among children and parents alike…。
