歌莉娅（莎朗·斯通 Sharon Stone 饰）从小就是个脾气火爆个性叛逆的女孩，长大之后，她几乎是顺理成章地成为了“大哥的女人”。歌莉娅的男友凯文（杰瑞米·诺森 Jeremy Northam 饰）也不是盏省油的灯，一次意外中，他因犯罪即将面临牢狱之灾，仗义的歌莉娅挺身而出，代替凯文坐在了铁窗之后。
